About the event

The association of Friends of the Tower and Sévère heritage organizes a walking tour in the historic districts of Sainte-Sévère. This visit is part of heritage events in the land of George Sand.

To discover Sainte-Sévère in a different way, the visit will take place semi-night. Visitors are invited to the market at 9 p.m. and, equipped with a small lamp, they will stroll through the streets of the village at nightfall.

The visit will begin in the castle grounds exclusively!

At the end of the walk, the Friends of the Tower have planned a tasting of regional products under the market hall.

We are waiting for you to discover a page of history in our village labeled “Petite Cité de Caractère”.

The visit will be led by Monique Joguet, former college teacher, passionate about the history of Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre.
